Cluster 100: Scaling Agribusiness through Integrated Beekeeping
Published: April 10, 2026 | Author: Paul Ogunedo
The Cluster 100 project is the operational proof of the Africa Wealth Initiative framework. We have moved beyond the laboratory and the classroom to onboard our first 100 specialized producers into a high-value, integrated beekeeping ecosystem.
The "Cluster" Advantage
In a traditional model, 100 small farmers are 100 separate risks. In Cluster 100, they are a single, synchronized industrial unit. By aggregating their output and standardizing their protocols, we create a volume of 'Residue-Free' honey that commands premium prices in global markets.
I. The Fiditi RDI Hub Integration
The project is anchored at our RDI Hub in Fiditi, Oyo State. Here, we provide the technical oversight and the modular processing infrastructure that allows every member of the cluster to achieve Gold Global Standard results without the personal burden of owning heavy machinery.
II. Digital Traceability: The 25 Architects
Every member of Cluster 100 is managed through a digital sieve. Using the automation workflows built by our Academy's 25-architect cohort, we track production metrics, hive health, and revenue accrual in real-time. This isn't just beekeeping; it is data-driven agribusiness.
III. From Farm Gate to Global Table
Cluster 100 isn't just about honey; it’s about the value chain. We are establishing processing units for beeswax, propolis, and royal jelly—converting every byproduct into a revenue stream. By July 2026, our finalists will be integrated into the Farm2Table digital marketplace, connecting directly to industrial buyers.
The Goal: To prove that 100 disciplined, digitally-connected African SMEs can out-produce and out-earn traditional industrial giants.
